I first met her IRL at NWIF2023. I saw her again at Otakon 2024 and NWIF2024. At both cons, she performed a show that featured and English cover of AKB48&#8217;s \u201cHeavy Rotation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Two weeks earlier, the music video of \u201cHeavy Rotation\u201d popped up on my YouTube feed and I found myself putting it on repeat play. <\/p>\n<p>A few days earlier, on Twitter\/X, Jenni posted asking people about things that remind them of her. <\/p>\n<p>I responded: \u201cHeavy Rotation\u201d. Land of the Dead. Idolspace. NWIF2023<\/p>\n<p>She replied: I first read this as Heavy Rotation: Land of the Dead. \u201cI want you, I need you, I&#8217;d love to eat you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As usual in these instances, my brain went into parody overdrive.<\/p>\n<p>This is the result. And in Japanese, no less.<\/p>\n<p>I heartily dedicate this to JenniBon, nakama-senpai and inspiration. She&#8217;s also a big fan of zombie movies so this parody is right up her alley. <\/p>\n<p>(please excuse any and all Japanese mistakes.
