ふらっと出かけた場所を紹介しようと思います。
2025年11月に愛知県豊田市にある「香嵐渓」に行きました。

・香嵐渓

四季折々に彩られる香嵐渓。秋になると約4千本の木々が赤や黄色に染まり、巴川の川面を美しく彩ります。11月1日から30日までは「香嵐渓もみじまつり」が開催され、様々なイベントが催されるとともに、日没から21時まではライトアップを行なっており、昼間とはまた違った幻想的な紅葉を見ることができます。
紅葉だけでなく山野草の宝庫としても知られており、中でも3月下旬から4月上旬にかけて広さは5千平方メートルにもおよび咲き誇る「かたくりの花」の群落は、まるで薄紫のじゅうたんを敷き詰めたような美しさ。
毎年、この花姿を見るために多くの人々が訪れます。

駐車場：有料(670台)　1台500円(11月は1台1,000円)

・第70回 香嵐渓もみじまつり

全国にその名を知られる紅葉の名所。
約3,000本と言われるモミジの紅葉の一番の見ごろの時期となる11月には、毎年、もみじまつりが開催されます。
期間中開催されるライトアップでは、息をのむほど美しく幻想的な光景が楽しめます。

・香積寺(こうじゃくじ)

応永三十四年（一四二七）白峰禅師によって開創された。
山号の飯盛山は、その山形が満鉢の香飯に似ている所から名付けたもので、往古は堅固な地形を利用した山城であって足助七城の主城であった。
足助氏一族は、代々ここを本拠としていたので滅亡後に菩提を弔うため当寺が創健された。
寺号の香積寺は維摩経香積仏国品を典拠としてな名付けられた。
当山一帯の風光は、飯盛山の山容と、巴川の清流とが調和して四季を通してその眺めはすばらしく、数千本の楓樹の画く新緑の初夏、特に紅葉の秋の美観には目を見張り、筆舌を絶している。
この楓樹は、寛永年間、十一世参栄禅師が巴川に沿う参道に植えたのが始まりで大正末期から町民等によって植樹を広げ続け昭和五年に香積寺の「香」と嵐気の「嵐」の二文字をとって「香嵐渓」と名付けてから、紅葉の名所として知られるようになった。

・Korankei

Korankei is colorful with every season. In autumn, approximately 4,000 trees turn red and yellow, beautifully illuminating the surface of the Tomoe River. The Korankei Maple Festival is held from November 1st to 30th, featuring various events. The area is also illuminated from sunset to 9:00 PM, allowing you to see a truly fantastical view of the autumn leaves, different from the daytime.

In addition to its autumn foliage, the area is also known as a treasure trove of wildflowers. In particular, the Katakuri flower colony, which blooms in full glory over an area of ​​5,000 square meters from late March to early April, is so beautiful it resembles a pale purple carpet.

Every year, many people visit to see these flowers.

・70th Korankei Maple Festival

A nationally renowned spot for autumn foliage.
The annual Maple Festival is held in November, when the approximately 3,000 maple trees are at their peak of autumn color.
The illuminations held during this period offer breathtakingly beautiful and mystical views.

Koji Temple

Founded in 1427 by Zen Master Shiramine.

The mountain’s name, Iimoriyama, was named after its shape, resembling a bowl of fragrant rice. In ancient times, it was a mountain castle that took advantage of the sturdy terrain and was the main castle of the Seven Asuke Castles.

The Asuke clan had its headquarters here for generations, and after their downfall, this temple was rebuilt to commemorate their passing.

The temple’s name, Koji Temple, was inspired by the Vimalakirti Sutra’s “Koji Buddha’s Country Chapter.”
The scenery around this mountain, with the shape of Mt. Iimoriyama and the clear waters of the Tomoe River in harmony, is magnificent throughout the year. The sight of the thousands of maple trees turning green in early summer and the autumn foliage in particular is breathtaking and beyond description.
These maple trees were first planted by the 11th head priest, San’ei, along the approach to the temple along the Tomoe River during the Kan’ei era. From the end of the Taisho period, more and more trees were planted by local residents and others, and in 1930 the area was named “Korankei,” taking the characters “ka” (fragrance) from Kosekiji Temple and “arashi” (storm) from the Japanese word for storm, and it has since become known as a famous spot for viewing autumn leaves.
