■憩いのリビングルーム
今回は秘密基地で一番時間を過ごす「2階のリビング」を紹介します。
築35年4階建てのこの物件はフロアー貸しされていたらしいのですが、ここ数年は2階のみの使用で他のフロアーは倉庫みたいなだったので、傷みも多く修繕し甲斐がありました。
ただこの2階フロアーはキレイで、ウッドの床はオイルスティンを塗る程度で使用ができました。
リフォーム前の2階はキレイな状態ですが、水周り（流し）がないので、そこは外注工事を手配しました。
基本、家では食事は作らない予定なのでコンパクトな流し台のみ設置。コンロも無し。
一応、お湯もでるので、冬場の水洗いもＯＫ。
このフロアーで一番の工事は塗装です。
壁・天井を塗装しましたが、色は白にしたので、一見変化がわかりにくいです。
ただ下地処理・塗装は2度塗りしたので、2人で2日かかりました。真夏の8月の塗装はサウナ状態でしたが、みんなの協力のもと完成しました。
家では仕事をしないので本棚は漫画本だけ。一度読んだモノも何度も読み返します。
ベンチタイプのチェアは座り心地が抜群。一番いる特等席です
天井が高いのと暑さで塗装は大変でした。
しかも他の階と違って色が白なので大幅な変化がわからないのも少しだけ影響しましたが、完成し荷物を配置してみると大変満足しました。

This time I’d like to introduce the living room on the second floor, where we spend the most time in the secret base.
This 35-year-old, four-story property was used as a floor rental, but for the past few years, only the second floor was used, and the rest of the floor was like a warehouse, so there was a lot of damage and it was worth repairing.
However, the second floor was clean and the wood floor could be used with just a coat of oil stain.
The second floor was clean before the renovation, but there was no water (sink), so we had to hire an outside contractor for that.
Basically, we are not planning to cook meals at home.
Only a compact sink was installed. No stove either.
There is also hot water, so we can wash the dishes in the winter.
The most important work on this floor is painting.
The walls and ceiling were painted, but since the color was white, it’s hard to see the change at first glance.
However, it took two people two days to do the groundwork and painting because we applied two coats of paint. Painting in August, in the middle of summer, was like a sauna, but it was completed with the help of everyone.
I don’t work at home, so my bookshelf is just comic books. I read them once and reread them again and again.
The bench type chair is very comfortable. It’s my favorite seat in the house.
Painting was difficult because of the high ceiling and the heat.
Moreover, unlike the other floors, the color is white, so it was a little difficult to see the drastic changes, but I was very satisfied when I finished and placed my stuff.
