こんにちは、大正生まれの古民家に、暮らしながらリノベーションをしている「Slowlife Log」です。地方移住してもう10年以上がたちます。この古民家に住んでから8年程になり、壊したり作ったりを繰り返してきました。やっと居住空間のリノベーションに終わりが見えてきたので、やりたいことの一つであるパン工房作りをスタートしました。
わたしたちはやりたいことが多すぎるようで、家の中のDIY加え、小さな畑に野菜やぶどう、レモンなどの果樹を植え、ガーデニング、薪ストーブ、カヤックなどなどまだまだ……懲りない感じで暮らしています。このパン工房作りが、どのくらいで完成するかはわかりませんが、気長にお付き合いください。
今回は、工房の基礎作り最終回です。コンクリートブロックとレンガを使って作っていきます。今回も一人作業になりますが、モルタルを練ったりレンガやコンクリートブロックをグラインダーでカットするなどいろいろとやっております。
最後に、素人なのでいろいろと不備な点や、間違っていることなどあるかと思います。優しいアドバイスお待ちしています。

Hello, I’m “Slowlife Log”, living in an old private house from the Taisho era and renovating it. It’s been over 10 years since I moved to the countryside. It’s been about 8 years since I’ve lived in this old folk house, and I’ve demolished it and built it over and over again. The end of the renovation of my living space was finally in sight, so I started building a bakery, which is one of the things I wanted to do.
We seem to have too many things we want to do, so in addition to DIY around the house, we plant vegetables, grapes, and fruit trees such as lemons in a small garden, garden, use a wood stove, kayak, and have a lot more to do. . I don’t know how long it will take to complete this bread workshop, but please bear with me.
This is the final installment of building the basics of the workshop. It will be made using concrete blocks and bricks. This time I will be working alone, but I will be doing various things such as mixing mortar and cutting bricks and concrete blocks with a grinder.
Lastly, since I’m an amateur, I’m sure there are various flaws and mistakes. I look forward to your kind advice.
