こんにちは、大正生まれの古民家に、暮らしながらリノベーションをしている「Slowlife Log」です。地方移住してもう10年以上がたちます。この古民家に住んでから8年程になり、壊したり作ったりを繰り返してきました。やっと居住空間のリノベーションに終わりが見えてきたので、やりたいことの一つであるパン工房作りをスタートしました。
今回は、屋根作りを始めました。基礎に柱を建てていきます。基礎の微妙な差に苦労しています。ビシッと作られる職人さんの技があればと、何度も心が折れそうになります。とりあえずは、壊れないものを建てていこうと思っています。何かの参考になれば幸いです！！

Hello, I’m “Slowlife Log”, living in an old private house from the Taisho era and renovating it. It’s been over 10 years since I moved to the countryside. It’s been about 8 years since I’ve lived in this old folk house, and I’ve demolished it and built it over and over again. The end of the renovation of my living space was finally in sight, so I started building a bakery, which is one of the things I wanted to do.
This time, we started building the roof. We will erect pillars on the foundation. I am struggling with the subtle differences in the basics. Many times I wish I had the skill of a craftsman to make something with such precision. Since our goals are different in the first place, it’s not what I want to do even if I go all the way in that direction, so I’m trying to build something that won’t break. I hope it will be of some help! !
Lastly, since I’m an amateur, I’m sure there are various flaws and mistakes. I look forward to your kind advice.
