身体が不自由な方にも
フィンランド式サウナとラドン温泉を
楽しんでいただけるお部屋の工事が
いよいよ終盤に差し掛かっています。
お部屋のデザインや浴室のデザインも決定し
最後まで試行錯誤しながら
サウナ室内のデザインや
身体を温めていただくための
サウナストーブも決まりました。
今回はサウナ室内の容積が
約11立方メートルと広めなため
サウナの本場フィンランドの
サウナストーブメーカー「IKI」の
タワー型サウナストーブ
Pillar IKI 9 kWを採用しました。
Pillar 9 kWは150kgの
サウナストーンを搭載できるため
お部屋の定員である4名様が
ロウリュウしても
石が冷えてロウリュウの醍醐味である
石に水をかけた際に出るジューという音が
出なくなることはありません。
今回のサウナ保温設備工事を担当するのは
サウナの本場、フィンランド大使館の
サウナ工事を手掛けた実績を持つ名門、
株式会社METOSです。
また、サウナ室内の木材装飾の設計と加工は
サウナシュラン2022を受賞した
北こぶし知床ホテル＆リゾートにある
三次元デザインサウナ「UNEUNA」の
木材加工を担当した、
株式会社アーティストリーが行っています。
以上の企業様が全面的にご協力いただき
私たち時のホテルが身体の不自由な方でも
ご利用いただける素晴らしいサウナを
導入できることとなりました。
このお部屋は、健常者の方でも違和感を感じず
足が不自由なお客様には配慮された場所に
身体を支えることができるように
工夫されて設計されています。
これも

We are nearing the final stages of renovating a room where guests with disabilities can enjoy a Finnish-style sauna and a radon hot spring.
The design of the room and bathroom has been finalized, and after much trial and error, we have also decided on the sauna room design and the sauna stove to keep the guests warm.
Given that the sauna room has a relatively large volume of about 11 cubic meters, we have chosen the Pillar IKI 9 kW tower-type sauna stove from IKI, a renowned sauna stove manufacturer from Finland, the home of saunas.
The Pillar 9 kW can hold 150 kg of sauna stones, ensuring that even when the room’s capacity of four guests performs löyly (the act of throwing water on hot stones), the stones won’t cool down, and the characteristic sizzling sound will always be present.
The sauna heating equipment installation is being handled by METOS Corporation, a prestigious company with experience in constructing saunas for the Finnish Embassy in Japan.
The design and processing of the wooden decorations in the sauna room are being done by Artistree Corporation, which was responsible for the woodwork in the three-dimensional design sauna “UNEUNA” at the Kitakobushi Shiretoko Hotel & Resort, awarded the Sauna Schran 2022.
With the full cooperation of these companies, we at Tokino-Hotel are proud to introduce a wonderful sauna that can be used by guests with disabilities.
This room is designed to accommodate both able-bodied guests and those with mobility issues, with thoughtful features to support guests in need.
