動画に見える白い蔵のような部分は、テント張りのハナレ。一旦は規模を縮小すべく取り壊すことも考えましたが、母屋から切り離して屋根と軸組を再利用。テント生地で覆われた簡易かつ趣の違う「ハナレ」としました。ファスナーで開閉する「ちいさなテントのおうち」です。

MDS’s renovation of “Kaleidoscopic Temple in Washi-no-su”. This part of the building, which looks like a white-walled warehouse, was once considered for demolition to reduce its scale but was detached and the roof and shaft were reused to create a simple and atmospheric “Hanare – outhouse” covered with a tent fabric. It opens and closes with a zipper. It is truly “the little tent house
